Return of the Extra Terestrial.

May 30th, 2008

I am back after a long hiatus…. Blogging is like going to the gym… Skip a week and you’ll get lazy. Anyways, whats been up with me ? A lot as of late and I shall spread the details in due time. This is gonna be a very short one at the moment as I’ve got some things to attend to. I’ll be posting the pics of my trip to Gold Coast and Melbourne on the next post and well thats pretty much it for the time being.

Peace to the middle east!

Melbourne Part Trois.1 ([-][-])/

April 24th, 2008

My 3rd day here in Melbourne. The morning seems busy, everyones getting to work or class. The trams are moving up and down. Got a day pass for the tram. Don’t know where I’ll be going today. Izhar’s says he’s going to take me around as my wife has class for the next few hours. It’s 12:30pm, meeting up with Izhar at 1:15pm.

Still need to find someone whose got a CF card reader.

Melbourne Part Deux.2 (>.<)~~~~

April 23rd, 2008

Had breakfast with my wife at a sushi bar. Sushi Monger. I had a Unagi Donburi, with a tuna roll on the side. The tuna roll was definitely much better than the ones served at Sushi King (I still love you though).  We had a walk down King Street, Williams Street, Queen Street, Elizabeth Street and finally Swanston street.

I had a brief tour of RMIT courtesy of my wife, managed to get an insight of how her daily life is over here down under. Met a few of her friends who were really friendly. She had a group work to be done, so I left her to do her work, and walked up the streets, snapping pics until I reached to good ol’ Eski’s place.

Haven’t seen the lad for over a year. It was great catching up on things. He was in the middle of finishing off his assignment which was pretty interesting. Motion graphics and Flash. He’s definitely a whiz on Flash. I left his place after bumming around for 2 hours and walked back towards RMIT. As I waited for my wife to finish off her assignment, izhar called.

Izhar had just finished an exam, we cought up at RMIT and talked for a few minutes there. My wife was done a few minutes later, and he then invited us for dinner.

Thats it for now… will update more soon. Can’t get any pics up right now, can’t get hold of any CF Card Reader.

Melbourne Part Deux (^.-)/

April 23rd, 2008

I woke up slightly early today, the cat in the house woke me up as it jumped on my stomach. The cat was hungry I guess, it curled around my legs to make itself comfortable, not knowing that I was no where close to being in a comfortable sleeping position. i let it have it’s victory for the first few minutes then i tug the sheets bouncing it off me… It wasn’t long before it had it’s revenge on me. This time, it went for my head, i could feel it’s tail whiping my nose. i had a brief thought, was i gonna get an ass to the face ? Thank God, nooo.. Close call there. It curled behind the back of my head, making purring sounds, trying/pretending to be cute. I let it be and try to force myself back to sleep.

45 mins later + a cold shower. i’m currently YM’ing with Hilman the Haj (cos he’s the only one whose done it between my friends). He goes on about how nasi lemak is 50cents at wheres he’s working. We crack jokes here and there, he got the best of me today. damnit.

Gotta go now. Got some sightseeing to do and need to get some bfast.

Melbourne (-.-’)~~

April 22nd, 2008

I am currently in Melbourne. This house/apartment is awesome, I wouldn’t mind living in a pad like this. As I arrived we took the cab to my wife’s friend’s apartment (phew mouthful). As we got of the cab, I managed to get a close up look of a possum!! Sadly my camera failed to function. Curse the damned CF Card.

I’ll update more… with pics.. soon.

Gold Coast \(^o^)/

April 22nd, 2008

Hey all, I’m currently in Gold Coast, Australia. I don’t have much time left on this machine. 7 mins to be precise. So quick updates, it was raining first day, spent 2nd day at dream world, 3rd day at Movie World. Gold Coast is lovely. Gold Coast is amazing. I’ll be leaving to Melbourne this evening. Will upload pics when I have the chance.

It’s been amazing to be able to see my wife again after a few months!

Happy Birthday Sayang~!

April 7th, 2008

On April 7th 1984, my wife, Nur Faizah binti Mohamed Yusof was born. It’s her birthday today and I’m stuck with mixed emotions. Being apart with your loved one is not an easy task, as she celeberated her 24th birthday with her friends, I could not be more than happy and sad at the same time.

I was happy knowing the fact that she has friends who care for her there, I was happy knowing the fact that her friends had made her feel appreciated and most of all I was happy knowing that she was happy~! Why sad ?  I guess that answer would be pretty much obvious, a neon green highlighter wouldn’t make any difference. I was sad because I wasn’t by her side to show how happy I was and how much it meant to me to celebrate her birthday together.

I thought this picture was pretty cool.

Honeymoon Hangover… (Part 1 of 5)

April 5th, 2008

Here’s a quick one. This shot was taken at Bali. Tanah Lot to be precise.

We had a days tour of several places around Bali during our honeymoon. Tanah Lot was the 2nd last destination. It was truly a magnificent experience. The ocean breeze, the sound of waves hitting the bedrocks, the cold sea tingling your feet as it brushes towards you and best of all, having your most loved one enjoying the exact same experience with you, together.

Tanah Lot, Bali.

Hello world! And it begins here..

April 5th, 2008

“Hello world!”, if you’re in the IT field, or learnt programming, then you know that everything you learnt began with “Hello World!”. The single most overly used phrase in programming.

And it begins here. My journey, my life, my ambition and my passion.

My name is Tengku Edzuan, born May 23rd 1984. I am married to my lovely wife Nur Faizah. The next most common question would be, “Wow, you’re still young and already married ?”, my next most common answer which I say under my breathe would be “Yeah, I’d like to get a head start in my life.” I’d like to think I’ve achieved my 2nd phase of my adulthood, the 1st was getting a steady job or so I tell myself.

This blog is for me, is for everyone. I share my thoughts, I share my life here. One day, when I’m not here in this world, I’d like to know that a lot of people shared the same thoughts as me, argued with me, hated me, respected me but most of all knew me eventhough we had never met.

Over the course of the next few days, months and years whichever may end first, I urge you to sit back, relax, sip that cup of coffee, play some music and enjoy the ride.
